Moving Things Around
On June 10th, Etsy announced that sellers of 3D printed products must only sell their own designs. This change significantly affects our ability to sell the hundreds of licensed 3D designs in our store. Etsy hasn't enforced this policy against us yet, but it's only a matter of time. Today, PrintedStarships.com, which began as an Etsy shop, will fully operate as our own store and start the challenging task of attracting visitors here instead of Etsy. We will also move all our YouTube links and those on armada.community pages, hoping to keep some of our established traffic. Thank you for your ongoing support, and we look forward to offering new products for years to come.
First Blog post on new site
It all begins with an idea.
Today we take a whack at our own website for our store and blog yet again. This time with Pattern, which integrates our Etsy inventory system on the backend.
This year has been HUGE for Pulsefired Gaming. We are well on our way to doubling our output from last year and the year isnt even over yet.
One big thing that we've done to help that along is take more and more custom orders for 3d printing. Recently a customer of ours contacted us to see if we could produce a 500mm Omega Destroyer. At first we balked at it but after thinking for a second the obvious choice was to get at it.
Now we are working on another custom request for a customer. If they proceed with it we will attempt a 1930mm wide Supremacy Mega Star Destroyer.
Thanks for sticking with us these last two years and heres to many more starship filled years

What to expect in 2025
It all begins with an idea.
Ringing in the new year with new goals and new dreams. Before the end of 2024 We reviewed some of the best decisions we made for the store and started planning on how to take the momentum we had gathered forward to lead us to a successful 2025. Our goal is to continue to grow by offering more. More starship listings. More complete listings, meaning less to look elsewhere for complete experiences. More diverse options to enjoy printed starships and wargaming. I think we have a good plan on how to deliver on those focuses.
Late 2024 we started working closely with the 3d modeler Ravensfell. He has been a part of the Star Wars armada and Halo 3d modeling communities for a while and expressed that he'd be open to accepting commissions from Pulsefired Gaming or others who were interested. We tried them out and found that his sculpting was very capable of quickly delivering high quality starship sculpts and a affordable price. We commissioned them for the Praetor Mk1 that we started offering in our shop. That ship had been requested by customers for a while and we thought it was a good test case to try out the ability of Raven. What they delivered was great, we made suggestions and sizing requests and requirements for Star Wars armada mounting and ease of printing. After the delivery of the Praetor, then the Kandosii, and then the Home One variant of the MC80 cruiser we began to see that there was more to this commissioning thing than we had initially pictured. At the end of the year we worked with the Armada Legends community and Ravensfell to commission the entirety of the Halo Legends project Wave 1 release. Raven had already worked a bit and had a working CCS class cruiser but we wanted all of it. Raven has worked hard and produced some excellent sculpts. Almost everything is already listed in the store minus some releases like fighters that are still ongoing.
We have drafted a list for 2025 commissions and its over 50 items long. Starships, Ground vehicles and space stations are all coming. We work closely with other creators as well and I shared the commission list with them to help drive development of those wanted projects forward and have gotten good responses back from everyone. So look forward to many more exciting releases this year.
Concentrating is hard for me so I rely heavily on lists and schedules to try to command my messy brain to be as effective as I want it to be. It's a pretty constant struggle. Focusing on Star Wars Armada scaled ships as we have from the beginning has always left some gaps Ive wanted to fill to create a richer experience for those customers interested in a more complete Star Wars armada purchasing experience. Sometime in January we will begin to offer ship tokens as bundles to both official Star Wars armada ships like the venator, as well as the Armada Legacy and Legends content that has been approved for release. SO what that means to you is there are new options coming to existing listing to include not just ships and stands which has driven so much success to our store but ship tokens and ship cards as well. We are working with both Robbes Workshop and Wobbleking as well as the Armada Legacy developer Spacenavy to bring that experience to our store as well as making files available to the rest of the community that already have 3d printers. With those new offerings we will be also dipping our toes into multicolor printing for a more attractive experience with the tokens and enhancing or existing offerings like shield dials for our stands and the activation sliders for our squadron stands.
Lastly we will be creating listing options soon that offer the most complete experience that currrently exists for armada scale customers post AMGs announcement to end official development of the game. Custom Expansions. Soon we will offer Starter set like experiences for Halo Armada and BSG Armada. Where for one price you can get ship packs with stands, ship tokens and ship cards as well as squadrons with the same options.
I think 2025 will be an exciting year for starship releases both from us and the rest of the community dedicated to supporting games through 3d printed starships.
Thanks for reading, We hope to see you in our store

3D Printing Woes
It all begins with an idea.
Well, while we love resin printing, One thing we don’t like is having multiple printers go down at once. We run Elegoo Saturn 4 Ultras for our resin printing and a week ago 3 different printers all had their z axis motor die. While elegoo eventually agreed to honor the warranty and are sending us replacement parts their estimate is 10-20 business days before we see any parts. Thankfully we have spare printers that were intended to be sold but never were. With some of those in place we've been able to keep up with restocking and print on demand orders. what goes on the back burner when we are in this diminished capacity is new product development. We recently started getting into legion scale printing and have some listings up for our customers we could potentially get up to the same amount of listings as our starship listings. We expect by may to be fully up and running again.
Julie our new store manager has been kicking but with order processing and has gotten us considerably ahead of orders due. Eventually we will adjust down our processing time so customers can feel confident that not only they will get great sculpts but fast shipping too.
Thank you for continuing to support our store with orders.
